Rooted in Radiance: Our Latest Photoshoot

Rooted in Radiance: Our Latest Photoshoot

There’s a quiet kind of power in simplicity.

In our most recent shoot for Infinity Mascara, we leaned into softness—natural light, real skin, and intentional beauty that feels grounded, not performative. It wasn’t just a campaign. It was a moment of stillness.

As we’ve been connecting more deeply with our community—through surveys, TikTok comments, DMs—we wanted this shoot to be a reflection of where we’re headed. We dropped tiny easter eggs throughout—clues of what’s to come in our next drop.

Everything was rooted in nature. No retouching, no overproduction. Just light, texture, and color—exactly how nature intended.

We kept thinking back to our middle school art teacher, @karenkiickart, who had a poster taped above the chalkboard that read:

“Earth” without “art” is just “eh.”

That quote always stayed with me. And somehow, years later, it’s one of the guiding principles behind how we build Aer. This photoshoot felt like an homage—to nature, to art, to authenticity.

At Aer, we believe in framing—not masking. We use ingredients derived from nature, a weightless tubing formula that lifts and defines, and a packaging system that keeps sustainability at the forefront. Because beauty shouldn’t cost the Earth.

We shot this story in a small park just off Kelly Drive in Philadelphia—local to us. Megan, our model, stepped in front of the camera for the first time—and brought with her a grounded, effortless presence that felt like she’d always been part of our story. Paige, our founder, styled the shoot with intention, adjusting folds of fabric and plucking fruit from the basket between takes. And Madi, our Creative Director, was behind the lens—quietly capturing the softness in motion, and every small detail that made the day feel whole.

The day before, we wandered through the local farmer’s market. We picked out deep plums and tasty blueberries, found a vintage basket tucked in the corner of our studio, and brought along muslin curtains we’d used in our apartment. Nothing extravagant. Everything intentional.

This shoot was slow. Present. Gentle.

And it’s the beginning of something really special.
